The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - [1] BE PROACTIVE

During our life we go through a process of development, connected to our society and environment around us. And somewhere in life you’re going to ask yourself what you want to do, and how you’re going to do this; which one is the key to be a Successful Person in life?
We have to understand that we’re in charge of our life and no one else is. We need to be conscious about this and take responsibility for our actions in order to be PROACTIVE in life.
Reactive people think that the world is just moving and everything randomly happens to them: they live a passive life. They think that the problem is out there, but this way of thinking is actually the problem. ⠀
A proactive way of living the life is having awareness about your Circle of Influence, which represents everything that we can control and handle, and this is exactly where our focus has to go. Being of course aware that in the world there are also events that we cannot control, but we need anyway to react to them with a positive and constructive energy, this won’t lead in blaming external factors for what’s happening in our life, but will lead to a proactive way of living and thinking. A life in which you are the protagonist, and you’re self conscious about your possibilities and capacities and what is exactly under your control.
Create your own Circle of Influence and just focus on that, not on the external factors that are not under your influence.
