The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People -  THINK WIN-WIN
n order to establish great and strong relationships we must commit to create Win-Win situations that are capable to satisfy each party.
In his book, covey explains that there are six paradigms of human interaction:
⠀1) Win-Win: In which both parties win and the conditions that have been created are satisfying for everyone.
2) Win-Lose: Are situations in which usually the person with more power, high position or personality impose his conditions to get more benefits.
3) Lose-Win: Generally happens when someone is quick to appease and can’t tolerate a long confrontation.
4) Lose-Lose: When the people that are involved are very determined and stubborn and they prefer to get a bad deal rather than giving others more benefits.
5) Win: People that have Win mentality usually don’t care about what the other gets. What matters is that they get what they want.
6) Win-Win or No deal: if no one can reach a deal that brings mutually benefits, there is no deal.
The Win-Lose or Lose-Win situations just one person gets what he wants, but this will negatively impact the relationship between them and is a temporary solution, just for the moment.
An important factor for achieving a Win-Win situation is the Abundance Mentality, that means that there are plenty of resources for everyone and we all can get benefits.
But the majority think with a Scarcity Mentality in which if you get it, I don’t. Having this mentality will impact you relationships in a negative way, giving you hard times to share your success or recognition and will block you from being happy about other people’s success.
In an interpersonal leadership the more we are committed to get a Win-Win situation, the more powerful our influence will be.
